The paving stones, just like the foundation, should be selected depending on the conditions and requirements that the surface must meet. Home sidewalks, which will only be used for walking, can be made of cubes 3-4 cm thick, but those in public spaces near roads must be more durable, therefore the thickness should be at least 6 cm. For roads and streets, use a cube that is at least 8 cm thick. Regular (cut) or irregular solid stone materials are a more durable, but more expensive solution, which is much more time-consuming to install.

Execution of the surface

At first glance, it can be said that the execution of the surface, especially with small elements, is not too complicated. However, the lack of appropriate knowledge, and especially of the machines, may cause the paved surface to undulate very quickly and not fulfill its role properly.
